Those olympic games crossovers were always the silliest imo. I mean, seriously, Sonic's whole gig is that he can run faster than the speed of sound. How can a plumber in overalls possibly compete in a race with that?

But the goomba would be outside assistance, therefore prohibited by the rules. Same with Lakitu's cloud or a clown car. But Tails' extra tail is just a part of his body, so couldn't be disqualified.

(Side note: attempting to apply real world sporting regulations to computer game characters is the funniest thread I have been involved in for months, thanks for the hilarity XD )

Well surely in that case Knuckles could just climb the pole to get over the bar regardless of how high it was?

Drugs aren't allowed in competition though, so Knuckles can't get high to win.

Honestly, the best Sonic games are 3D.

Sure, most of the 2D Sonics are way better than most of the 3D Sonics. Sonic Boom. Sonic Secret Rings. Sonic 06.

But Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were better than anything 2D, and Generations (which is definitely the best) does both.
