I know there is still some time for E3 2022 and there might be reveal something.

But what upcoming top PC games are you looking forward for now. For me its currently these for the moment.


Life is Strange + Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered - 1 Feb, 2022
Huge fan of both Life Is Strange and Life Is Strange: Bts, so now I cant wait to experience them again. I have only played them through one time and thats years ago. However I think they are overpriced.

Total War: Warhammer III - 17 Feb, 2022
I really like and enjoyed the Total War franchise and the Holy Grail has always been the Warhammer based games in the serie. Now I cannot wait for the next chapter to unfold.

Elden Ring - 25 Feb, 2022
Its been a long time since I played a decent fantasy RPG and Elden Ring actually look surpringing good.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe - Early 2022
A small indy game there kinda surprise you with its rather unique setting. I thinks its great after almost then years we get a larger version of it.

Warhammer 40.000: Darktide - Spring 2022
Both the first and second Vermintide was great, so if they following the same line with 40K Darktide with a few ekstra elements, then we will have a sure hit again.

Starfield - 11 Nov, 2022
Can´t say much about Starfield as it is a new universe, but I am looking forward to try it when its released.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl - 8 Dec, 2022
I have played all the major games in the Stalker series like Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat. So naturally I am looking forward to the next chapter.

A Plague Tale: Requiem - ?, 2022
The first A Plague Tale: Innocence was a great game with a interesting game mechanical, so if they just follow the same path, then I am sure this will be hit also.

Somerville - ?, 2022
A small indy game there is created by Dino Patti, same person there was behind also Limbo and Inside.

Sniper Elite 5 - ?, 2022
I have only played Sniper Elite 3 and 4, but they where great games. So this is also something I am looking forward too. Maybe one day I will try the Sniper Elite V2 Remastered too

RoboCop: Rogue City - ?, 2022
From the same company there made the Terminator: Resistance and also the Rambo: The Video Game, we see a other IP based on a movie. Sadly Rambo: The Video Game was a huge disaster, but Terminator: Resistance was made well done. So if they keep up the good work with RoboCop: Rogue City then I will try it out.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection - ?, 2022
I have played Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 on Playstation 3. But have never played The Lost Legacy or A Thief's End. So I am looking a lot forward to playing this on PC. I just hope its powerful enough for it.

Company of Heroes 3 - ?, 2022
I have play both games, but have played countless hours in Company of Heroes 2. Its great we final get the third game now, but I am still a bit worried after Dawn of War 3. But I hope it will come out good at least, because we lack some serious real time strategy games. At least we have Age of Empires: IV for now.

Six Days in Fallujah - ?, 2022
We lack modern first-person shooter there is based on real events. I hope this game will fill the missing gap.

Terminator: Dark Fate Defiance - ?, 2022
From the same company there made Syrian Warfare. But I should be said that Syrian Warfare very hard gameplay and learning curve, so the game is maybe not for everyone. At least we now gonna get a RTS in the Terminator franchise.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine II - ?, 2022
Its incredible is over 10 years ago that we played the first Space Marine. So its great to explore a new adventure in the 40K universe again.

The future is looking bright already.

I don't tend to pay any attention to games coming up at all, unless they chance across my view by accident.

I simply am not interested until they come out and get reviewed. Simple reason is this - the state of the industry nowadays and the fact that I only buy when games reach a price I deem I want to pay for them however long it takes.

No I pplay ALL games.

No, what I do is simply wait - many games go cheap enough within a few months. I picked up Dreams, Death Stranding, and Gears of War 4 and 5 each for about a tenner (although two were slightly over).

I don't have to wait long. That's the point. Some games though really hold their price because people either don't want to sell them that quickly, or there's not much excess stock hanging around.

For example, GTA 5 took me about two and a half years before I could get it cheap enough on the PS4. Likewise a lot of first party Nintendo games, especially Mario or Zelda mainstay games. I waited until the WIiiU had been forgotten (early last year) before picking one up and got all the games well under a tenner each. Many were 50p to around £1.50 each.

Last Capcom title I played was probably here on PC - Resident Evil 3 remake.

But this week alone I've played 40 Winks (PS1), Ridge Racer 4 (PS1), Koudelke (PS1), Dakar 18 (Xbox One), Elite (BBC Micro), Atic Atac (ZX Spectrum), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (DS), Squadra Corse Alfa Romeo (Xbox), and a few others arcade games on my cabinet.

I'm equally happy with any game from any age. And because I dont' ever sell them, I still have them all to play as I wish,.

Not so much that.

It has little much to do with new tech or it being too far off in the future that's prohibiting it.

It's the fact that there's a double whammy of nobody having any idea to push the story forward and that the writers and creators involved have all left.

With Valve operating their "flat" business model (where people work on what they want to, essentially) this isn't likel to happen.

Personally I think they're painted into a corner. The game is SO far removed from modern times and even if they purely though t up a fantastic story, the gameplay would make it seem mediocre today. So they're kind of stuck.

Wait, the Saints Row 2 re release is still a thing? I thought after the death of the dev who was working on it Volition shelved it. Especially since the reboot is coming too.

The Saints Row reboot (and the fixed port of Saints Row 2) come to mind.

I'm still waiting on the news for the HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest 3...

And hopefully the Jelle's Marble League game does well enough that they put out games based on their Marbula One and the Sand Marble Rally...
