What are gas prices up to in your country?

Here in Belgium its around 2.1eur for diesel and 1.8for benzine (in liters)

Same as about 2 months ago. Then germany announced that they'd drop the prices by 30 cents, but only from june onward. That announcement was made in april...

That was plenty of time for all big gas/oil companys to increase their prices to 2.2€ per liter, then early June the prices were at ~1.9€.
Now they're back at 2€

Same price as a few months ago, yet the money doesn't go to the government to work on the 20 construction sites your average german village has at once.

Still a lot cheaper than here in the Netherlands. I’m lucky to live so close to the border

Because "Cash For Clunkers" was so good for the environment? Right?

And electric cars grow on trees and need absolutely no rare earth mineral strip mining or petroleum for plastics or massive open lithium pits that kill all the local wildlife or dirty energy to charge and everyone that parks on the street or lives in apartments can easily plug their new affordable $60,000+ base line electric car into the curb... Right?

I remember two years ago when it was less than half that price. Fortunate I can basically walk to work otherwise I’d be pretty crestfallen.
