I mean that IS just like 3 cups of coffee. And the 400mg a day limit is merely a suggestion, because healthy amounts vary from person to person. I mean, the unhealthy levels are at 2k plus, so yeah.
I see them, but don't know much about them. Never had one. I did user to drink energy drinks on the regular when I was working 50+ hours a week. My faves were...
Red Bull Special Edition: Red. They are cranberry, and quite tasty.
Full Throttle: Blue Agave. Honestly, they were super tasty, with none of that slight old vitamin aftertaste. Sad the Don't seem to make them anymore.
Bawls: Root Beer and Cherry Cola. The classic gamer energy drink. Best part? Zero energy drink flavor. Just REALLY good versions of the sodas. Used to buy them by the case. Used to buy them by the case from Microcenter.
Monster Java: Mean Bean, Irish Cream, and Russian White. The only ones I still drink on occasion. It's just a charged up coffee. They are awesome, and probably the best tasting on the market.
Sounds like a title for my sexy autobiography.
That's the phenylalanine. Which is a neurotoxin. You should cut that out.
>They have 300 milligrams of caffeine, which is quite a bit.
Recent research has shown that caffeine in moderation is good for the heart. Emphasis on the words, "in moderation." Granted, some people get wired and jittery with caffeine. Others, like myself, get sedated on it.
>You can have up to 400 a day, according to Google.
>>Google
Use Bing or Yandex.
>>You can have up to 400mg a day.
The recommended limit according to actual authoritative sources - scientists and physicians, not bureaucrats or propagandists - is 500mg, but like with anything there's some wiggle room with that depending on your physiology and how much of a tolerance you have. I routinely have ~600mg, I'm fine. Others, well, probably couldn't handle half of the recommended limit.
>And I don't really consume caffeine in any other ways, I do drink soda but I usually only drink caffeine free soda, like Sprite and Canada Dry.
Carbonated sugar water is empty calories and generally as bad as consuming something laden with phenylalanine.
>While I do drink 1 a day, that's only if I actually have any. Eventually I run out and don't drink any for a while until I buy more.
Shouldn't drink any, because once again phenylalanine is a neurotoxin.
>So my question is, is it bad for me to be drinking them as much as I do? What do you guys think?
I'd recommend switching to another brand entirely, but if you're dead set on consuming Bang then I'd say go for it. I'm on record as stating the Drug War is pointless and that everything in that regard should be at the very least decriminalized. So long as you do it in the privacy of your own home, I have no reason to care.
