What are your favorite hot sauces ? Salsas? Pepper Sauce?

What kind of heat do you like? name brands? peppers ? etc. Where do you draw the line?

I really like habanero. I get Trader Joe's brand for a very hot habanero sauce, and for something else great for flavor that I can use more of at once I get Dave's Gourmet Hurtin' Habanero.

There's another hot sauce I like a lot now called Yai's Thai chili garlic hot sauce. It's also very hot but not as hot as the Trader Joe's one.

For salsa I get Whole Foods organic one that comes in a big container. It has a lot and it's at a lower price. I also like green salsas, especially some I tried at some restaurants.

Peri-Peri Hot sauce on Chicken (Nando's style)

And

Tabasco Pepper Hot sauce on Tacos, Nachos and Kababs (Hells Pizza style)

O'yeah! Hot Sauce from Asheville, NC is my current favorite. Lots of good heat and great flavor.

Was waiting to see if anyone would eventually say Peri-Peri, also Piri-Piri sauce.

Love that stuff. My mom used to make that and also add it into homemade chorizo sausage. She goes a bit over the top trimming the fat off meat (I'm the opposite), so the sausages were super lean and just to die for.

You gotta be careful with Peri-Peri however, as it has a side-effect...
