Not consoles, but still.
Consoles were singleplayer games at first, this is a face.
*fact, sorry.
PC's were singleplayer too but they always had the connectivity for multiplayer and becuase of this that option was quickly utilized.
After that everything went kind of downhill because the nature of the internet.
Became such that moderation was simply needed (to be guided in lines and forms) because it became all about competition who's better and since there's inheritily nothing wrong with competition (read: reason why we are here in the first place, but do we still need competition in that primitive sense? No I say), I think that it's just a choice as you said.
But to think of a young person and if they get a PC first a good PC because in modern times PC's are very good: they kind of hit the jackpot, right?
You can't ... I mean consoles are also good yeah so I don't know.
Honestly I just don't want PC's to die out, Consoles to die out and for us to do so equally.
Us being the players and I think this option is kind of cool, that.
Cheaters go to PC's and No Cheaters go to consoles. (I thought of this before also obvious because it's hard to cheat on consoles)
TY~
I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen more than one person playing a game on a single PC. Can you even plug in two controllers yet?
Edit: I'm asking in all honesty, I don't know. I know I have the X360 controller and the wireless adapter for PC, but I've never had the need to try and connect a second controller to it.
Let alone four.
It's just that I was brought up to do solo singleplayer games as it were but I remember in a long time ago that yes indeed one could argue this was the case.
In a way consoles are superior to PC's. You win this argument.
(pardon me I can't perpetuate the discussion forward I let people go over us or me in this case as usual because that is the standard, ty for commenting, I have to ponder some things)
About the multiplayer? Well. I mean... PC's are like best simulation tools.
They were perfect and distinguishable from PCs when all you had to do was either insert a cartridge or a CD and play the game, with no install.
Where I said I've never seen more than one person playing a game on a single PC.
I actually have, but only in turn-based hotseat-style games.
I guess I'm saying I'm done with consoles until they can recapture what made them different in the first place.
