Right but read the bag: Do NOT use the popcorn button on your microwave.
There is no way the microwave popcorn accounts for all brands of popcorn bags.
It used to be a standard thing. Also, the buttons do more than just "time." For instance, popcorn may be prepared best with certain phases of pulses or periods of more constant pulses or... whatever.
I'm sure microwave popcorn manufacturers know what their accepted "Standards" are. And, I'm sure many have figured out their own little thing to set themselves apart from what every other manufacturer is doing, so they may require different settings to produce the best results.
...
That was a loud pop!
I promise, if you read the package, it says NOT to use the microwave BUTTON.
Where are people getting that I said don't put popcorn in the microwave? This is two people, now.
Never said you do not do that
I just said that every popcorn I have in my house says to put it in there v:
"It" could mean either the button, or the microwave.
What COMMUNIST popcorn are you popping?
