What game did you meet your 1st internet friend in?

When i was a kid (middle school) I remember meeting my very first internet friends in Minecraft.. like 10 years ago. lots of great memories

they were my best friends through all my teen years. and i met one of my friends in Second Life a long time ago

I feel like a lot of gamers probably met their best friends in games. do you remember what game u made your first internet friendship in?

I met a lot of people via tf2, mostly from the forums who I later randomly encountered in game but that's about it for me.

The first online game that I ever played was RuneScape back in 2002-3. I made a few good friends on there.

I met my first internet friend playing Doom 2 and WarCraft 1 on a p2p modem connection. Technically, it's not the internet, but the idea is more or less the same.
