Is Minecraft gonna be on Steam?

Not likely, Minecraft is on the Microsoft Store, but still you never know cuz then again FH4 is on Steam

Microsoft has owned Minecraft for a few years now. I suspect it's still popular enough that they're getting sufficient direct sales and don't need to sell it on a third-party storefront for a percentage.

Soon as they hit a slump in sales, I'd imagine they'll consider it at that time.

I mean that's what brought EA IPs back to Steam. So that's probably what it will take. I'd say give it a year or two, minimum.

I wouldn't really be excited for Bedrock Edition on Steam, but it may happen, I guess.
Also, I lost a fair bit of faith for the game after the announcement of mandatory M$ logins, I hope that hasn't been enforced yet.

I don't think so but if it did get added to steam it would bring tons of new people to steam

and it was made exclusively to be on steam and not their site anymore... steam would grow by millions

so id really like it to be added

I've not seen Microsoft make questionable business decisions or public faux pas like Electronic Arts has made in the past few years.

MS could still decide to feature only European electric cars on Forza Horizon 5 and then tell fan to not buy but if they don't like it. That would likely lead to Minecraft coming to Steam sooner rather than later.
