If it's anything like SR4 IDC.

After seeing that trailer, it can stay over there. It already looks like some kind of Fortnite Spinoff anyway. Sad to see Saint's Row get the corporate "focus group testing" treatment. That trailer felt as soulless and uninspired as it gets.

I've played most of the SR titles, they were entertaining but I wouldn't call them "great".

Not that it matters, just buy the game there if you want it.

Saints Row 1 and 2 were sick, it's a shame SR1 never got ported to anything. 3 was ok but I stopped caring about the franchise after that.

Only time I object is if the game is close to release on Steam and they pull it to make it an epic exclusive. Still not buying it, either way, until it hits $20 for the game and all the DLC on Steam.

Gog partnered with epic, some time ago. And they now sell few games with DRMed aspects. It is very much possible for people wanting to buy it, to be able to do so, through Gog. Not as early as in epic itself, though.

Doesn't matter. My patience will outlast Epic's Fortnite success, and they're not going to be able to capture near enough market share against Steam to keep the ball rolling once Fortnite starts to wane. No game lasts forever.

They haven't partnered with Epic. They just offer store integration.
They are bound to sell some games through GOG, that epic allows them to. They intend to make Galaxy a universal client, being able to connect with all others. Their deal with epic is complex.

Making Galaxy a universal client always was the goal, has nothing to do with Epic.
