Not sure the current rate in my country, but in England, 1 kg of potatoes is 2.2 pounds.

(Sorry, Walter.)

In the US: approximately $1.32 (1.12 EUR) per kg (at Walmart), if I purchase a 4.5kg bag.

No idea we buy those in Germany instead of France because it's cheaper.

Each potato is like a nugget of gold just waiting to be pulled out of the ground by brave adventurers such as ourselves.

0,75€ to 2€ per kg depending on the variety. Fresh, new season potatoes in late spring can be upwards to 30€ per kg although the price does drop quite fast as more of the new harvest is made available.

Roughly £0.30 to £1.00 per kilo, depending on varieties and how many you buy at once.
