Thing is you won't necessarily know something is a meme unless you are a regular user on the platform it was started on. Case in point, the Little Dark Age meme. Unless you got stuck on a loop of those random videos and heard the same song playing you would never know it existed.

I love that meme only because I didn't know it came from Yakuza so playing it and then being surprised by it made it amusing, plus it encouraed people to actually check out the Yakuza Series which feels good because it's too underrated.

I don't understand the Amogus meme, but that's probably because I try to stay away from anything related to that game.

I'm not into Tik Tok and I only watch content on YouTube that I find in some way useful (specific product reviews, instructional/tutorial kitchen stuff, etc), so I don't pay a whole lot of attention to memes - although once in awhile I see them here & there. 😏

Well, I hope I am missing out on the TikTok crap entirely. Otherwise, seemingly, my ignorance seems to be working rather well, and in general I am really late to catch on any meme nowadays, if ever.
