Do guys still think waxing is "girly?"
I've been wanting to get my face waxed as I just don't like having facial hair. I asked my mom if I can get waxed and she wasn't opposed to the idea but my dad say no because I'm a guy.

so I might as well use facial cream removal i guess?

You can, but test a spot on your body with the stuff first before applying it to your face.

My friend was telling me this messed up story about her and her boyfriend, they were playing with nair (sp?) and she used it between her legs and he used it on his butt. They both had an allergic reaction to the stuff and both had to go to the hospital, though it was quite funny because they were in the same room to get treated, one bent over a table and one with her legs open rashes everywhere.

So yeah, spot test on your leg or something I doubt you'd want a face full of rash.

Appreciate it. I have used hair removal cream before but only on the body. So far never had an issue with it but since the face is different, I'll have to see.

the one problem you may have with this is facial hair can be pretty thick, so you may need to leave it on longer then your skin can handle it. but if its not a problem go for it, its not the worst solution.

as for wanting it later in life, that's really only if you have an issue with your face/structure of your face and you use the hair to hide/sculpt whats not there. I haven't seen many people who hate their facial hair suddenly want to grow it because every reason they hate it is still present later in life too.
Make sure to use some "icyhot" or "bengay" on your skin immediately after either ripping out your facial hair with wax or melting it off with nair.

The chemicals in icyhot and bengay will really help soothe the skin afterwards.
no, it's a torture

Not girly, just unnecessary.

Just shave, hair is going to grow back regardless.

I don't know, however will assume that waxing is more expensive hence a scam. Save money, cheap razor and shaving cream.

This.
It has nothing to do with it being put in a gender box.. it has more to do with if its practical or not.
That being said, there could be some problematic implications with waxing your facial hair and not just ingrown hair.

Native American indians including mayas and inkas did pull out their facial hair one by one. Especially for warriors this was seen as a prove of manlyhood and resistance as it was painful.

Whatever applies today and here is not what applied always and everywhere.

I don't know about Mayans but I remember watching a documentary about something in India. Apparently, in the poor parts/ slums of India, there will be poor barbers on the street offering their services. But since they didn't own any tools they relies on actually PULLING the hair off.

That's a load of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I think waxing is stupid and unnecessary. Razors are a thing.

"Reak man", As opposed to what? A fake man? Ridiculous.

Yes, the man in 2nd pic is a "fake man" - because he clearly is a boy, not a man.

When did they ever think that, collectively?

Regularly waxing a car is essential because it helps preserve the clear coat over a vehicle's paint. ... In other words, applying wax is a necessary component of keeping the exterior of a car in the best possible condition and retaining a vehicle's resale value. As a general note, always wash a vehicle before waxing it.

Are cars "girly"?

Only if they have "fender skirts" or a front end "bra".
