I'd have to go with the rings. Dairy gives me lots of phlegm these days.

They're both about the same on average but you have a wider spread with onion rings.

That is to say the best onion rings are better than the both mozz sticks, but the worst onion rings are worse than the worst mozz sticks.

Onion rings. Make them with Walla Walla onions for the sweeter taste.

Who would pick a vegatable, over cheese?

Sure you could say, but its more fattening. But your already eating a fatty oil fried food, so obviously you aren't calorie counting.

Depend on how well they are made

I'd go with a Bloomin Onion from Outback, if given the choice.

If it is between regular onion rings and mozzarella sticks, I could go with either, but both at once would be best... along with some hot wings (boneless for me, but you do you).

There's a place in Omaha called Billy Frogg's Grill & Bar. Their burgers are excellent, but a couple times, my family & I made a meal out of ordering every deep fried appetizer & side that they offer (including onion rings & mozzarella sticks). :lunar2020hearteyesrabbit:

... did they at least serve frog's legs too? My wife loves those for some reason, and given the places name, I was just wondering. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Pity the non-Midwest for not getting Culvers.

I love cheese sticks and onion rings, but whenever I go to the State Fair, my usual is poutine, blooming onions, and gyros.

I just got back from a Costco run which included a couple boxes of jalapeno poppers and tzatziki dip for them.

GYROS. O.O

I wouldn't kill for a good gyro right now, but I would definitely inconvenience. :lunar2020ratinablanket:

Onion rings…even though it’s fried it’s still a vegetable and therefore healthy.

I actually have a Culver's down the street and I live in the South. It was a pleasant surprise when we moved here. I always thought they were Midwest only.

They're pretty good but most of it is disproportionately expensive. Concrete Mixer is what I plan on going back for. Easily the best dessert in its class.
