The only thing I can trust is completely free of dairy and eggs is when something says vegan.

That said, I like my non-cow-butter on my egg and gluten free bread (I won the food allergy lotto and no i am not happy about it), to go with my 2" thick steak.

Same here. I can't eat gluten or dairy, so I can't really give up meat and fish, there would be nothing left to eat.

am i the only one around here that realizes that being vegan has some good foods too? salads without the ranch, smoothies (they still taste good with water) , fruit salads, bread, etc.

as the person thats being vegan the longest on this forum, no.

Is whey considered vegan? I saw it listed as an ingredient for frozen vegan/dairy-free frozen pizzas at the grocery store last year, and figured I'd ask if I ever got the chance since it came from an animal.
Good question but i think not but i have a vegan protein shake and i didn’t see one with whey on it
Wait
Do i understand right that you can't even eat milk or anything which comes from an animal or was an animal

Or do you mean vegetarian where you just cant eat meat but milk is ok?

And if vegan.
What are you gonna eat? I probably havnt lived a day in my life without anything from an animal

nope whey is derived from milk, the product you saw isnt vegan so no idea why you saw it on a supposedly vegan item.

vegan is no animal products at all, that is meat, eggs, dairy (milk, cheese, etc), oils and even goes as far as leather and none food items from animals.

vegetarian is ok with using none food items from animals and will eat eggs and dairy (milk, cheese, etc) but not meat.

and theres plenty of vegan food options to choose from if you look, its not hard to replace meat with vegetables or meat replacements like tofu or the newer fake meats.

I understand all of that.

But my local currywurst restaurant only sells currywurst made out of actual meat.
And all restaurants only see wiener schnitzer made out of meat.

As long as all restaurants only sell me currywurst and Schnitzels made out of meat, i'm never gonna switch.

It's easy to life vegitarian if you cook on your own, but in restaurants, it gets much harder getting food with fake meat.

And don't get me started on vegan, thats stupid, can't even drink a normal coup of milk when i wake up.
And No Pizza too, because of eggs in the pizza dough or the cheese on it.

yup.
people have a difficult time choosing their health over convenience.
It’s not healthy to eat the same stuff over and over again as well so if you have variety that’s the healthy way

Is cannibalism vegan?

maybe
Why isn't there "Meatgan" offerings?

Like voracious meat eaters that try to make meat products look and taste like vegetables.

All I can find is the Arby's meat carrot... or "Marrot".
