I mean, it's not just vegan food that is contributing there; so many things have palm oil in it (and soy), it's kind of ridiculous.
"People are boring unless they're extremists."
Perhaps I have had too much fizzy pop tonight.
I also remember a story from my friend that worked at a Subway sandwich shop about a woman that came in all the time and always ordered a veggie sandwich with mayonnaise. After nearly a year of her ordering the same thing, he overheard her mentioning that she is a "proud vegan"... So when she ordered the sandwich that day he let her know that mayonnaise was an "EGG" product, she freaked out and thought he was joking until he showed her the ingredients on the bottle. Said she went more pale than she already normally was. He then asked if she still wanted mayonnaise, and she waited a few seconds before saying very quietly "yes please". Afterward she started ordering turkey subs and chicken sandwiches and he noticed she started looking less pale and more healthy.
Change your diet only when your current diet brings in negative result. If it's working fine and you change it, you only risk getting unnecessary problems.
If vegans guilt trap you, calling you cruel and killing animals - They just want more people to support their interest, they don't really care about your possible health issues. It is the opposite - more animals eat meat than humans. You get to enjoy life today because the strong hunters protected you from their teeth. Without humans, the weaker animals will be eaten by other stronger animals. It is a cycle of nature.
And what are we ? suddenly a big person who must change the world? to protect all animals? to save the environment? to donate money and help poor countries? It has been decades - and I dare say this - give me a break. The problem is the result of greedy cooperation and money hungry people. We don't have to shoulder this burden. If we really want to see change, then we should change all our current leaders. Why pay them if we have to solve their problems?
