It depends on the game, but mostly I won't buy on Steam unless the game is USD $20.00 or less, or is part of a multi-game package where each item is USD $10.00 or less.

The last two times I've bought at full price, I've been horridly disappointed. Prototype 2 and Killing Floor 2. That's all I'm going to say about it.

Depends. Cyberpunk 2077 - full price, sure. Many other games can wait 'till they're -50%.

Last games I got or release were Portal 2, DE:HR and CSGO. I usuallt have too much backlog as to pay $60 for playing something right now. A huge backlog gives you time to wait for Season passes and extra DLC to come up in a GOTY version at a good sale price.

And If I know the game is going to be DLC intensive I absolutely wait for a good deal to come up.

Rimworld I bought full price cause I have never seen it on sale. Fallout 4 I bought not on sale cause I was a fanboy. All my other games I got in bundles or on sale.

Always waiting for sale.
No matter how good the game is, I'd rather wait for sale and purchase 2 or 3 games instead of just 1 for that same amount of money.

I think I've purchased only two games at full price.... I normally wait for 50%+ off... mostly 75% off

I will pay full price for a game that I anticipate wanting to play. C77, DXHR / MD, Portal 2, Sniper Elite, Prey...

Games I'm on the fence about? Not full price, more than likely. If it shows up on my wishlist and still has great reviews I'd be more inclined to buy a 'iffy' game at a sale price, but I will simply outright buy ones that I want to reward the developers.
