Recommend me: "Survival-game" with NPC helpers/management
I usually steer away from survival games, i made an exeption, it was poop. But something made me want more...

Lets try something actually good this time.

Recommend me a survival game. The usual, gather stuff, make stuff, kill stuff... BUT! With a twist. Has to have NPC minions to do stuff for you. Deeper the NPC management, the bettter.

Lets AVOID typical "base builders" like Factorio etc. I love Factorio, but its not what im looking for here.

Why?
I'm the guy in MMOs that plays the pet-class, sending them to finish you off while spamming "l33t-skillz" -macros, I have max-pets build in D3 and loving it.
MMOs need too much time, time i dont have but i allways end up playing pet-classes or gather a ton of NPCs to do my dirty work, its how i do things.

I mean Ark is a survival building game but the NPCS are dinosaurs. Granted dinosaurs have different uses to help you. I recommend doing a private server or single player and you can do tons of mods.

7DTD is supposed to be adding NPCS in Alpha 17, maybe 18 if delayed, and it's a survival game too.

Depends on what you're looking for OP.

Also a new one that's good I like is Feel The Snow and Kingdoms. Kingdoms is being reworked into a new Unity engine I believe. Could look at them at least?

Not strictly a survival game, but State of Decay might have a lot of what you are looking for. A sequel will be out this day, but probably only through the microsoft store.

That game was fun for sure until you have an overpowered safe house and send 15 people to do supply runs and they carry it for you. Afterwards it becomes repetitive.

State of Decay had soooooo much potential but only used fraction of it. Mods helped, a lot. The military addon was good too.

SoD was a good tip. I might have to give it another go.

Keep em coming.

Conan Exiles. Has 100% exactly what your looking for. They are called thralls. You basically go capture NPC's and then train them to do whatever you want them to. Coupled with the Mod Thralls are Alive, they are 100% interactive and expanded for various other tasks as well.

I suppose these dynasty games are something like that.
