Any K-Drama fans out there?
Some of my personal favorites: Signal, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, My Mister, Queen of Mystery, Stranger "Secret Forest", Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People, Voice, Extra Curricular, Suspicious Partner, K2, Kingdom, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Misty, Miss Hammurabi, Cheese in the Trap, Lookout, Missing 9... just to name a "few" (okay, maybe not so few here >.<)

I don't expect this thread to be too popular, since I'm unsure the popularity of K-dramas outside of Korea and don't expect the numbers to be too high!
Hoping to talk about any of these dramas with a fellow fan!
(No expectations, though)

I do like some of their drama but most of time i am more into investigation, action, mystery, fantasy, politic and anything related to that. I am not into romance or love story much. I will post some later. Let me check first.

I have never tried a K-Drama. I have discovered Chinese dramas. Like:
Destiny Of The White Snake
10 Miles Of Peach Blossoms
Swords Of Legends

I am an American of European descent. So the cultural subtitles are lost on me. I am learning some of the Chinese ones. I like the fantasy ones with magic and swords. But supernatural mixed with horror would be good too. I need ones with English subtitles. What would be a good K-Drama to start with?

Do fantasy K-Dramas usually have sad endings?

Yes, I would say most of the fantasy Kdramas end on a very sad note. I would recommend Scarlet Hearts if you enjoy historical dramas with a fantasy twist. Really is the best of them, but terribly sad...
