First attempt today, tried going for my P license but stuffed up the reverse parallel park. Did everything else fine. Now I have to go away in a few days so won't be able to try again for at least 2-3 months ):

Hey man I failed my road test twice too.

On the first attempt, it was because the roads were too narrow for me.

The second however was a big disappointment. I hit the curb while trying to park and that was a wrap.

Luckily I did pass on the third attempt.

Especially when you see people in Italy, they park sideways. Stop in the middle of the road to talk to people. And when parking, many of them bump the curb, touch the front/back of other cars (no dents), because it's a very cramped space.

Are there any accidents from parking? No, in fact they're very good drivers. But when it's a cramped space it's never easy to park. Parking is never always easy.

Parallel parking? Screw that. That ♥♥♥♥ is as outdated and pointless as horse-drawn buggies or roundabouts.

Any decent place worth being at has parking lots, if you gotta parallel park on the street somewhere, it's time to move shop.

Again. I'm just pointing out why they failed and what to do to avoid it.

The only hostility was coming from the person that didn't want to hear it and started cussing.

There are so many bad drivers in the world, it is NOT something to be forgiving on. It is a serious responsibility in life.

More people die in car collisions in the USA than they do of guns and suicide COMBINED.

If that idea hurts someones feels, then good, it isn't something to take lightly.

That is why they let people take the test again after a few months so they can study and practice more to get better at driving so "Oopsie I hit a curb" doesn't turn into "Oh crap! I backed over a box of babies!"
