No Todd you can only do those weird little jumps in Skyrim. Not what you would call climbing.
It would totally be doable though. There's only a few moves climbers rely on, and the gear is always limited to what you can easily carry with you.
Probably the best serious, non-cauldron guy answer.
Personally I prefer Dying Light for my climbing fix. Nathan Drake has climbing, but not really into that series.
That's not a bad suggestion there.
I can imagine Rise of the Tomb Raider also being somewhat sufficient as it does take you to the mountains I assume.
Yeah I see your point but I thought it would be awesome though. Sights to see and things to do, whilst the mechanics could be detailed I believe, ah well...
Interesting about Dying Light. Might check that one out.
This is genuinely the setting I'm thinking of//looking for. Thanks for the input.
This encapsulates the spirit, but it's a bit low tech :P
I was just playing Skyrim and was climbing mountains because in that game you can sort of glitch to do that so that's pretty cool experience when it's possible.
Real life. Best inspiration. But I need something that won't kill me if you catch my drift.

This is genuinely the setting I'm thinking of//looking for because: simulation-esque. Thanks for the input.
