12 i really liked the change in combat style, though once you knew what to do, combat was laughable with buffed up characters.
Never did any of the online stuff, who the heck wants to play with annoying players. Keep solo games so we don't have to deal with idiots.
Being named Final Fantasy because they expected the company to go under is a widely-repeated myth.

Die, monster. You don't belong in this world.
Hmm, well, it still sounded awesome though.
Going by the Dissidia series story modes, they're all connected. Though the lore they pull out of their rears to link them makes my head hurt even more than the Final Fantasy 7+spinoffs timeline
Yuna has got to be one of the most charismatic and endearing characters in all the Final Fantasy universes.
Yup, I second this. It is a well repeated myth that has absolutely no bearing in truth.
I can't recall if anyone ever got to the bottom of where this myth came from, but it is absolutely untrue.
I seem to recall either Chris Kohler explaining it in one of his fantastic books on gaming history or perhaps it was in one of my bibles - The Ultimate History of Video games (by Steven Kent).
8, on the other hand, is horribly overrated.
You can pick any ff game and there is always someone saying its overrated, lol. Never heard FF8 being praised a lot by anyone though. Its certainly the one FF game to divide opinions.
Yeah, I never liked it.
It always seemed a bit, well "young", for me. All too teeny angst type of thing.
Nothing in that gelled with me at all, and the link system or whatever it was called just didn't work either. TO me it is very much like 13 - the bastard child.
Though I can understand why some people like it, because it's quite a departure.
I also wanted to buy FF XII Zodiac Age, But its price is $50. And never goes below 50% discount. Not a fair price for a 14 years old remastered game in my opinion.
Both are decade old games. They could have just set the same price for both remastered games. But no, just because FF XII has little better graphics and originally released few years later (in 2006), so they decided to charge more. I hate greedy people who don't waste a slightest chance to collect more money.
