right, and so processes are different. i would like to know if the processes are similar enough or different enough due to the handling and how the chicken pieces are treated.

There are many things used in up-scale "fine dinning" restaurants that can be just as gross and disgusting if you know how it is made.
For Jamie Oliver to say:
"We've brainwashed our kids so brilliantly," Oliver said, "that even though they know something is disgusting and gross, they'll still eat it if it's in that friendly little shape."
Shows a lack of such understanding. "Disgusting and gross" can apply to a lot of things as it is a personal view. Money brains are disgusting and gross to me, yet others enjoy them and I doubt Jamie Oliver would call them "disgusting and gross".

I did mention "Define what's a chicken nugget?" as I knew they tend to vary from brand to brand. However, never really gave them a chance to be considered real chicken in most cases. It appears even McDonalds here now uses real chicken pieces, etc. Perhaps I'll look around different brands and actually try them again one day.
I loved them as a kid. Left them as a teen/adult.
