Movies will be probably the most affected, since chances are there will be no more cameo appearances. Those made movies more special for me.
Lady captain marvel has to have a "butt double stand-in" cuz her rear is flat.
This is "politically correct" marvel Disney now!
"We got our forced diversity quota and screwed over yet another comic franchise, but her butt is flat! We are likely going to need a stand-in or have to CGI her a nicer rear end!"
The unfortunate thing is, Walt Disney, isn't around to guide it but some muppets who make it worse who only care about quantity.
Either way, we do not look at the future as the same way we look at the past.
Having said that, I don't think that absence of his cameos will make much impact on the storyline of any future movie. As long as Kevin Feige (the main producer of the MCU since Iron Man) is still in charge of the franchise, I think the MCU will do just fine in the future. Unpopular opinion here, I guess I'm part of those who's willing to give a chance to Captain Marvel movie, even though I'm not really a fan of her in the comics.
But yes, he will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, sir.
Marvel is owned and been run by Disney... good ol' Stan lost his say in things years ago when the Marvel Entertainment sold things off.
Not to mention most of the things seen today are all done and in the can for a while now... I'm sure we will still see a few shots of Lee in a few more movies, all done before his death, just to keep a vague resemblance of contiguity. That's why his cameos were put in there... he was a show piece... someone to tie in the old fan base to the new movies.... nothing more.
And I agree with this. Thor Ragnarok (the movie that got me back into Marvel), Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, and Infinity War are all great movies. The rest just tend to bore most people.
