Sadly doing this will break GeForce Experience, which if you use it for recording or streaming games to another device means you have to grin and bear it.

Why would you want to remove the service that makes GeForce Experience work? Without this service, GeForce Experience doesn't work. Meaning that Shadowplay won't work. Meaning that you will have to manually check for new drivers. Meaning that you are fixing nothing and making everything harder for yourself.

I not use that crap so i not effected by it, like GE, and shadowplay
and wow manual check drivers really?. you know that you mostly only need new drivers if you experience problems right.

No, you don't "mostly" need new drivers if you experience problems. You "mostly" need new drivers because those drivers are hotfixes and optimizations for games and your GPU.

It's not like GPUs and games are optimized as soon as they are launched. They are improved with driver updates.

Kind of the wrong way around a game dev should release a product that's working not Nvidia job.
It's mostly the problem with the videogames that have wrong shaders etc which case the problems not the drivers of a product.
And no new drivers (do not magical enhanced) perform I not sudden play Oddessy 10 frames more that I use "latest drivers"
nor have I ever seen prove that I have.

So what do new drivers do.
fix memory leaks if they are being present, can fix Stability issues if they existed.

Here is a good example how easy you being manipulated with the so called Deep learning of Nvdia the next best thing.

It's both developers and NVIDIA's job.

NVIDIA makes products that developers use. Those products, like the products that developers produce, require updates to fix and optimize what developers cannot fix.

A clear example of that happened over a year ago, when Watch_Dogs 2 wouldn't launch for anybody using a certain NVIDIA driver version. NVIDIA had to release a hotfix so that the game would be playable again. Ubisoft had no control over the situation. They did not fix anything because that was beyond their hands.

So what do new drivers do.
New drivers do things like this:
This section summarizes the driver changes previously introduced in Release 415.New Features Added support for Windows 10 October 2018 Update (Redstone 5)Added support for •GeForce RTX 2070•GeForce RTX 2080 /2080 TiNVIDIA Control Panel (3D Settings)Added clarification that the Triple Buffering setting is intended for OpenGL only. Application SLI ProfilesAdded or updated the following SLI profiles: •Artifact•Basingstoke •Divinity: Original Sin II •Immortal: Unchained •Jurassic World Evolution •Seven: The Days Long Gone 3D Vision ProfilesAdded or updated the following 3D Vision profiles: •Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey - Not recommended•Atlas - Fair•Elder Scrolls: Online - Good•Fallout 76 - Fair•Hitman 2 - Good•Insurgency Sandstorm - Not Recommended•Just Cause 4 - Good•Project Nova - Good•Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 - Not recommended

And this:
Fixed Issues in this Release[GeForce GTX 1080]: GPU clock speed does not drop to idle when three monitors are enabled. [2474107]Black screen when resuming from monitor sleep on some DisplayPort monitors. [2457142][Notebook]: Fixed lockup that occurred when resuming from sleep on MSI GT83 notebook [2456849][GeForce GTX 1060 Notebook][Gu Jian Qi Tan 3]: The application hangs during launch. [200477252]Fixed black screen on BenQ XL2730 monitor at 144Hz refresh rate [2456730][Windows 7][G-SYNC]: Game FPS drops when G-SYNC is used with V-Sync. [200473408][SLI][3D Gaming][TU104][PG 180][Multiple apps][Win10RS5x64]Blocky Corruption when application is switched to certain resolutions [200465152][Shadow of the Tomb Raider]: Fixed occasional application crash in DirectX 12 mode. [200464716]

Here is a good example how easy you being manipulated with the so called Deep learning of Nvdia the next best thing.
I am not being manipulated by anybody. You are just being paranoid about your information because you are under the false and senseless belief that an evil company will sell your passwords and confidential information stored in your PC to a malicius hacker who lives in the middle of nowhere.

You are the one who seems to not understand that NVIDIA has the right to collect information.
You accepted their terms when you installed their software, therefore, they are legally authorized to collect what they said they would collect.

No thanks I'll leave it as it is.

Think I'll trust Nvidia over random muppets on the internet.

Why not just uninstall GeForce Experience? Has the same effect and is a lot easier to do.

You do have the option to just install drivers during the installation process as well.

Removing Geforce experience would not remove telemetry it's hidden in the uninstall files.
you can easy check it your self by pressing Ctrl alt delete, see task manager (more details)
their you see Nvdia Container on of the 2 containers have the telemetry service

and no you can't untoggle Telementry off even in advanced settings when you install your drivers that you bought legit.

I checked as I only install drivers. There is no telemetry entry.

Uninstalling Geforce experience and all other Nvidia software on my son's computer removed the entries. Reinstalling with just drivers did not add them back.
now if only the 40 mb of ram that cortana always hogs could be recovered so easily

..... I would say 40 mb is nothing, buut I have mayhaps too much ram, though I don't like cortana in general.
waste of resources and electricity and cpu time, 100 million computers x cortana's waste adds up to a lot
