I did not break a rule, I just phrased the question in a way that bothers people, because we have to protect women on the internet, because they are not the same as men, clearly.
Why hasn't my thread been locked when it is asking the same exact thing, but somehow when I am talking about men, no one is offended or trying to protect men. Double standard, and dumb crap dude. That is the sad sad truth about these forums, they are just arbitrary and trying to be the morality police, clearly not knowing why they are doing anything.
They want this to be a public forums, but they have no consistent rules here, and they block people with bait. They will use something like necro or double posting to give you a warning here, and then they will ban you on a technicality when you say something negative calling it "Not constructive."
Gender is not relevant at all to how someone enjoys their freetime nor how skilled someone is at playing games.
Hmm... okay.
I don't like shopping, and I have been to Macy's before with my gf. There is one whole store full of stuff only for women in that store. I asked where the Men's department was, and they said its in the other part of the store, across the street in the other building, and on the THIRD floor in one small section. But yeah, nothing matters and gender means nothing, okay dude.
Also, my gf likes to shop for clothes and I don't, and its safe to say that women like shopping for clothes more than men do in general, but somehow saying that means I hate women.
What studies? Link to them.
Take a look at this one.
https://www.livescience.com/55322-are-guys-better-gamers.html
On one hand the study claims that gender has nothing to do with gaming, then turns right around to mention encouragement and discouragement of women in the gaming world.
Imagine if I said, that saying guys are not good at games discourages them from playing games. What would you say to that?
Is she gaming at the same time she is shopping or why is this relevant?
Gender is not relevant to gaming as gaming is open to all who choose to participate which includes those who do not define themselves by gender.
Thanks for making it obvious enough what the whole intent here is, this comment also sheds plenty of light on the reason why your other thread got locked as well.
Right back at you. I'd file your current response onder the category "troll bait".
Why do you suddenly try to make things personal? Answer: to try and incite more comments.
If you want to be taken seriously then this isn't the right direction to take. It's obvious that you can't seem to accept the fact that there are other people with other opinions out there. So, like, why ask for opinions if you won't accept critical ones?
Well, I think the answer to that is obvious, as stated above.
Do you play the Sims?
What critical opinion have you contributed?
Don't meta talk about yourself and the topic, just say what critical things you have to contribute?
Or is saying that its obvious I am troll bait what you have to contribute? That is worthless here. Thanks.
As far as studies that show "women are becoming better than men by a fairly large margin", well I certainly haven't read any real study that collaborates that idea and anytime something deals in absolutes it raises immediate red flags.
It's interesting that this thread is worded in an opposite manner to the original. I feel like that in itself is an experiment being conducted. :p
It is experiment.
To see which post gets locked and which does not. Clearly we know why.
