If I am Japanese, am I immune to being a weeaboo?
I'm partially Japanese and I would like to know if I inherit such a power.
Weeaboos are described as Westerners who gave up their own traditions for Japan's, believing that the Japanese culture is superior to their own culture.

For you to be immune from the stigma that is being called a weeaboo, you must have the following criteria:
*Be born in Japan as a Japanese citizen
*Have at least good Japanese ancestral lineage from either mother or father side
*Typically exhibit a polite and clean nature to other people (being racist is one way of being "clean", but don't do that)

That's it, really. :cozycrashfish:

Otaku means "obsessed" in Japanese terms. In Western nations, it's general meaning usually refers to people who likes anime and manga. But the term "otaku" had since been overshadowed by the term "weeaboo" (aka, wannabe ♥♥♥) due to it's excessive use on the internet as a meme, deviating it's original definition.

You are susceptible to being a Westaboo though. It's the polar-opposite of a Weeaboo. Instead of replacing their culture with Japanese, they replace it with Western Culture.

OH GABEN THAT'S SO TRUE!!!
Just how and where the several legions of folks gathered the asinine, flawed understanding of the definition of weebs is just beyond me. Not referring to the OP, obviously, but it is a general example.
Who cares? Who cares how people call you/see you? If you're really concerned about such irrelevant meme things, you're worse then anything they can call you, because you actually "live" it.
Lol no, you would be labeled as an Otaku instead
