That list of good movies better include Slither.
On a serious note, if those 2 good movies are the Guardians films, then why the "Couldn't care" response? Considering he was fired while working on GOTG 3, that should be the one time you do care considering Gunn absolutely nailed those films to a point that other MCU titles like Thor Ragnarok tried to imitate it.

Actually it does include slither, and the first Guardians movie. The second Guardians movie, while entertaining at times is not a good movie. I'm so in my opinion dude has a 50-50 success rate with Marvel movies, and a 2 out of 13 directed films. And this guy isn't even remotely in Roman polanski's Talent range, and I wouldn't put up with Roman Polanski for the exact same stuff good old James Gunn is doing.

When and if you start being successful you pick up a certain amount of social responsibility. You are a representative no longer of just yourself but of projects you attach yourself with. And while they have been getting a little bit darker, the Marvel movies are just as much directed at children as they are adults.

He crossed a very clear line. I mean Disney could be drumming this stuff up to get out of handing him a big fat paycheck, but I kind of doubt it. A so-so director who is Riding High on very limited success, and starts acting like a fool, then I guess he learned his lesson. No more big budget movies for him. And I would say the same for really good directors.

Is that perhaps enough clarification? Also I don't own a copy of Slither so I need to remedy that.

Considering most of Hollywood's top producers, especiallly the ones at Disney, are rumored to be pedos, I find this firing pretty hypocritcal...

I wonder where these guys found out about that kind of hypocrisy. Why do they even have to fired James Gun though? It's an outdated tweet post and I don't think it's consider to be vaild because it is "outdated".
