cause Microsoft forces us to use win10 by taking older Os out of sale & stops supporting them in 2023, so only choice left is to go over to PlayStation & drop PC cause Mac & Linux don't support games, on game info Platform have u ever seen Linux or Mac being mentioned?

but why i make this post is cause i ask ppl to join me on this to show Microsoft that we don't take SH from them, that we wont let tyrants win

no security updates means we would become more vulnerable against hacking & viruses, i know most know that, but there mite be few that don't know that

Well that again is not true, no one is foucing you, you can stay on the older system even if its less secure
No one is foucing you, you just prefer to get better secrity right? and they prefer not to keep updating a system that is not relavent for them no more
No developer like manitaning old code, in the end it just makes you get stuck back, I mean do you excpect your restrant to come back home with you, to make sure the meal did not give you issues later, and then to go down the drain with the poop to make sure it go on well?

At some point they let you go, just as micrsoft dose for XP

On that Windows 10 is suppose to be the last, with it getting updates and nothing more
You can turn off the "spyware" as was said before

And your answer to move to Sony, don't really seem to solve anything you trying to put as a problem it just puts in in someone else hands
And on top of that on a system that is much more limited in the end
You compline that Micrsoft are taking away control but want to move to a closed system of Sony that has no control on its very base, hell you need to pay them to change the background to one of there set backgrounds
And so on and so on, sound to me like what you compline about is something you don't really understand on what it is
I got a PC and I got a Playstasion 4
Got the Playstasion becoiuse of the new Metal Gear before I heard it was also coming to PC
I honstly bearly use it, beside some exslosive games
PC is so much better then it with so much more control, so much more abilty to do stuff, and play much older games
Any game that has issues you can find the community that will get it fixed and done, unlike on Playstasion, that once you don't have the hardware the software is simply gone more or less (expect if you use a pc)

Maybe before implying that there is no Linux presence on Steam or that is it going nowhere take a look around and find that there are Linux forums on Steam, the developers or various games are making Linux versions, and SteamPlay that dropped like what, three months ago, more or less lets you try playing your Windows games, and to good extent in a lot of cases.

Not saying you have to go to Linux in any way, just saying its an option, and if you all ready going for deffrent system...
But so or so, Sony will not solve you anything you are saying is an issue with Windows 10, and just be more limited

About linux, its not as much work or issue, the good thing about it, is the community after all, and the community will do most of the work for you, its mostly just taking the time to read a little

and that is only for games that are not natively all ready supported for Linux, that you also have them

But honstly I think that just going with Windows 10 don't need to be that much of an issue for you as much as you put it
And on that you can even easily disable it with tools like this:

Beside that if you have no heard yet privecy is dead, you using Google your using facebook your using any of there likes, you privecy is very much far from saving well more or less

On any case Windows 10 is a good OS over all, it works well, it supports almost all old software with no need to pass any issue, and for a few just need very little community help work to get it working (and that is mostly for some really old games)

Being sceard of an update that may come some day will not change from any software out there, except maybe Linux, as they have guys maintaning also old versions
But anything else if Playstasion, Windows, Nitintdo system today will all have updates or be abonded sooner or later, so you cant escape it really
Not when you want to have this updates for the secirty

But in the end no one is fourcing you

Not really, some linux version are making them self easer to use so users that are not "experts" will have easier time using it, and it be more friendly for users

not Minecraft fan, i play the type of games like Witcher 1 & 2 mass effect Fallout new vegas & Alpha Protocol, RPG's & sometimes even Z FPS games like Dying light

Okay:
1. Stop typing fast.
2. Why the hell would PC gamers go to a console?
3. "PC" doesn't strictly mean Windows. It also includes Linux, which has a growing list of compatible games.
4. Who's forcing an OS down your throat? You can still use Windows 7 well after 2023. Just don't download suspicious software.
