Rub the instruction booklet all over it.

Steel wool. It cleans everything.

Seriously, though, just do this:
  • Fill sink with warm, soapy water
  • Put mouse pad into sink
  • Use a sponge to rub off any gunk or wads of hair/dust/cheetos. If your sponge has a course side and soft side, only use the soft side.
  • Wash the mouse pad off until there is no more soap residue
  • Pat it dry with a towel and leave it sitting out for a few hours.

Soap, water and a sponge.

Get a wet rag and rub it on the pad, then hang it up and wait for it to dry. That's what I do.

Buy a "Razer Goliathus - Speed Edition" soft mouse mat, when on sale and replace it.

Cleaning a mouse pad, depending on how dirty it is, is extremely damaging and makes the micro fibers worst. It's best just to replace it. They should each last you at least 3-6 years though.

ps: If it is possible to clean (depending what's on it), don't scrub it too hard while cleaning (damaging/moving the fibers) and avoid too much heat (melting/warping issues). Don't use it till completely dried (which takes ages) and ensure the edges don't lift.
