100c is the max for the i7-8750H.
soo anything below 100c is acceptable even IF i hit 80-90c?

Temps in a laptop tend to be higher then a desktop, so 70c is safe.

From what I am reading, 80-90 is common.

I'm reading 98-100 is said to be safe as well, but the cooler it can run, the better.

What CPU? Different ones have different max temps.

I have an i5-4570. It can go to 72c, but usualy stays at 50-60c when playing games. Average is about 55c.

Most computers turn them self's off when the CPU gets too hot. Like seriously hot

Do you know a lot about computers? Just open the side door and clean some dust bunnies out. Make sure it's unplugged and the switch on the back is flipped off

i doubt i reach 80-90 cause i got predator sense to control the fan which is very good at keeping my laptop cool (no throttling) thx for answer :3

Runtime doesn't effect temperature. PCs don't build temperature over time, unless your case has a ventilation problem and somehow pools hot air.

They're thermally stable. What that means is, they have a preset point and they'll let themselves heat to that point. Once they hit it, they'll kick in the fans and maintain that temperature. You can leave a working PC or Laptop on Prime95 for a week and if the cooling system is working, it won't go beyond that stable point.

TLDR; you can run a computer for an entire year and it shouldn't overheat. Rising temps over an hour imply hot-air pooling(from a poorly design case, NZXT S340s are infamous for this) or a faulty cooler.

You can learn your peak temperature by running HW monitor and then playing your most demanding game for an hour. Or just downloading Prime95 and seeing where you end up.

Just be careful they don't strip the screws then you'll be real sad . LoL
Laptops are kind of a pain to open and clean. Once a month might be too much unless you seriously produce a lot of dirt lol
