This pretty much, as a programmer these are the number one required skills as well. Problem solving, logical thinking, quick learning, having the ability to look at everything in the bigger picture.
I'll have my doubts about that, unless a study is produced. A lot of people jump on the bandwagon when something appears popular.
Am I smart yet?
Are you really sure that I am the one being taken for as a fool.
How peculiar. I guess I will need you to define fool for me, as I do not feel fooled.
[fool]
noun
a silly or stupid person; a person who lacks judgment or sense.
a professional jester, formerly kept by a person of royal or noble rank for amusement:
They are fooling you as you are taking a joke seriously. But now i feel like im getting fooled so i'll stop responding.
Thank you for your assistance. It would appear that the best deceptions are the ones which are indistinguishable from genuineness.
Evidently, this is exactly what I have fallen for, how embarrassing.
It is all too easy for intelligence to be used to find excuses why such evidence can be ignored without giving it due consideration, resulting in the somewhat counterintuitive situation that highly intelligent and well educated people are typically also the least likely to change their minds about a pre-existing belief even when presented with compelling evidence they are wrong. The obvious example is conspiracy theorists, who tend to show great intelligence and creativity in coming up with ever more complex and convoluted theories and explanations of why they are right even as more and more evidence piles up showing they are wrong.
In my opinion such people are intelligent, however they lack objectivity and logic.
Really? Oh dear, I feel so, 'foolish'.
