Whey are women's toilets so clean, even when they live with a boyfriend, brother, or dad?

If you are a woman, how often do you clean your toilet? Every female that I ever talked with who lived with a guy never had any complaints about there being splatter everywhere. And I know guys don't clean toilets often, so that must mean the females clean the toilets regularly and don't mind. So how often do you clean your toilet?

I mean pour water from a cup from only a foot above the sink and it won't splatter much. Take the same cup of water and pour from five feet above the sink, and the splatter would be more. Those 12cm probably makes a difference. Plus I am not convinced that you actually get on your knees and inspect the toilet. There are probably stains there but you just didn't notice.

I keep my toilet clean and bathroom clean all the time. It's a gender thing that people believe women clean more than men. Maybe in the old days when men were to work and the women stayed at home.

But I know both guys and girls who are clean freaks and I know some guys/girls who are dirty
and who never clean up.

I've cleaned both before as part of several jobs in the past. One is just as bad as the other.

As a guy, I clean mine twice a week and more if my 8/yo misses the target or around my wife's time of the month.

My wife doesn't touch the bathrooms except to use them.

Women's restrooms aren't that nice. Do you know how bad it smells when the trash bin is overflowing with used pads and tampons? Almost as bad as a clogged toilet full of crap.

My own bathroom, however, is adequately clean. Not spotless, I'm too lazy for that, but there are no visible stains and it doesn't stink, so that's good enough for me.

I went to a dentist office and it was all women except for one guy. I went to use the restroom and it smelled great and the toilet was immaculate. Seeing how they have hundreds of patients in one day, and I didn't see any janitors, those women must have kept the toilet clean themselves. I felt really self conscious, so I peed sitting down and wiped the lid before leaving.

They usually have cleaning people come in after hours... just because women work there doesn't mean they're cleaning it, lol. Medical professionals aren't going to do janitorial work for free, even if they are women

But I came into the office during the afternoon and there were all sorts of patients before me and the same time as me. Wouldn't that throw the theory that janitors come in after business hours out the door?

The three things I worry about the most are dishes, my toilet, and my shower. I figured out a way to clean my shower floor easy, but I hate cleaning the walls, especially near the bottom. I still hate doing dishes and often wonder what life would be like with an electric dishwasher. As for the toilet, I wipe it down every so often with a cleaner spray and a rag, but I usually go through two rags each time I do it, and it is such a pain to keep throwing dirty rag into the laundry basket every few days or week. I wish my toilet was self cleaning. I just admire women who have really clean toilets. Especially women who live with guys. I don't see how they do it.

Mate, I work in an office building. Our cleaning lady comes in every hour to clean the toilets and refill the toilet paper. I assume the men's room gets a male cleaner, I never paid attention.

No idea, but I know for a fact that our school pampers the girls' bathroom much more than ours.
We never heard a girl complain about their bathroom but we always complain about broken locks, no soap, and more.

I been working now for 20 years and in all my experience, I never seen anyone be it man or woman go out they way to clean the work place if it wasn't part of their job description.
