Along with recent rumors that EA is returning to STEAM. This makes it all but official. They now just have to say when and how this is going to work. I am personally happy about the decision. I think epic and others are not far behind. STEAM clearly won the war. Even Microsoft is selling its games on steam now.
AND THEY OWN WINDOWS 10. I'm sure EA has looked at the numbers and come to the realization they will not over take steam and have sold very little compared to what they use to sell by trying to make a exclusive platform. Its a no brainer not just for EA but EPIC, Activision/Blizzard and everyone else. Even GOG and there amazing support for classic titles. Steam really needs GOG to come under there umbrella. Keep the classics alive and supported.
What do you all think?
Edit: Merged.
PS: Just for your information, it seems that you are going to have a double layer of DRM, because EA will never drop Origin to please Steam Users ;)
Who could have guessed

If this is not the ultimate proof that EA is comming back to steam, then I don't know what is. :D
I got it on Steam then it moved to Origin. The game has an activation limit and EA support refuse to reset it because it isn't on their Origin.
Same here. I’ll definitely be picking them up if they come to Steam.
Its clear that they need better advertisement for their games, such as their new quicktime advure game, in order to make sales. None takes a chance on Origin, even if they use it, but plenty would most likely buy it on steam, due to the debate alot.
