It takes YEARS to get a degree ontop of years to get experience... You literally just pointed out that it takes longer than a trade, most trades need less than 2 years training, hell, HVAC only needs a few months. *laughs*
I don't think you understand the difference between unskilled labor and skilled labor.
ANYONE can work at a fast food place because it is "unskilled", sure they can work hard, but ANYONE can do it so they are not going to get paid a lot because they are so easily replaceable with someone else that will do it cheaper... but not everyone can fix a car or diagnose a complex machinery problem, so they get paid more for having in-demand "skills".
Again you show how little you know.
Independent truckers can make a ton of money, especially if they own their own rig (you can buy a nice used peterbuilt or mack for under $40,000usd).
When places need to ship millions of dollars of merchandise and don't have their own trucks, or need to ship odd loads, they usually put them up for a bid though contracts or websites like uship, and independent truckers can bid on those loads, usually for a precentage of what the load is worth and when and where it needs to go. I have 2 family members that do this, one with a big rig and the other with an HD pickup with a large trailer, it actually isn't unusual for them to make $10-20 grand in less than a month.
Hell, you want a source, it is easily searchable on a thing called the google, or you could just watch a few episodes of "shipping wars", since that should be about your speed.
Just be careful, as automated vehicles get more and more popular, trucking will be one of the main things they replace, likely in the next 10-20 years.
Maybe "robot repair technician" would be better for futureproofing... Unless they can get robots to fix other robots. @_@

I wouldn't be so sure. I mean, it takes more than just driving a truck to be a truck driver. You also need some knowledge regarding logistics, navigation (more than just a GPS), mechanical knowledge and even a few customer service skills. Tractor trailers are also much more complicated than most people would believe. We are professionals, so we just make it look easy lol. I mean, you have something like 3 seperate braking systems alone (service brakes, spring brakes, emergency brakes) and you have to account for an additional 53 feet of trailer behind you, etc.
I can't see truck drivers being replaced. We may have something like an autopilot, similar to what planes have, but for trucks. I mean you wouldn't trust a plane's autopilot to fly the plane the entire time. Autopilot isn't going to replace pilots. I can't imagine truck drivers being replaced by automated trucks. Too many risks involved that computers can't account for.

there's a plethora of them already, probably a quarter of the people in my discord consider themselves as one.
drawing furry art is where its at
Trust me, I have a acc for it and ed-jim is a "godlike" to draw
that's what i meant, furry porn. regular hentai though does pretty well
If I draw Kanna from kobayashi hentai version, would the customer be satisfying or not? And what he could do for those "artworks"?
I know whentai pays 100 bucks each to put on gallery, but how about other customers?
