The requirements on the back of the dvd case only says it is compatible with windows 7 and 8.1 64 bit, but no windows 10 for some reason.

Ea store tells the same.
But by now it should notify if its NOT compatible with 10

I also installed all 4 disks and it didn't want to finish the final update, it only came up with an error saying "Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue."

I have win 10 and the game and have no problems.
Strange Origin's own site say the same, but as i said i have not had any problems with the game and Win 10

Is it running in origin?
Maybe click, repair the game in the client

You could also reedem the key on Origin (If you have not alredy done that) and download it from there. Might perhaps help?

Most likely the same situation. You just need to go to the Dragon Age Inquisition directory and run it there.

There is also a similar issue stated here, but you should try the other one first as it is simpler.

Did that, it comes up with an "Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue." when i try and update the game.

Shouldn't matter. Both require Origin and use the same files. Both are updated to the same version as well.

Activating the game in Origin also lets you download, so the disks are pointless after that, unless you are trying to save on bandwidth.

I tested a game that didnt even know about vista and the rest. Ran fine on 10.
Its rather unlikely that a game wont run, which is still sold.

i forget what it is but win 10 disables like one key feature old games need to increase safety. Theres a way to turn it back on
