Well, if you don't really care about the graphics that much, go with cheaper one.

There are some marked hardware differences. The PS4 Pro is significantly more powerful. But since they're consoles it makes very little tangible difference.

Sony claims the PS4 Pro is capable of running 4K. That's a lie - it's nowhere near powerful enough for that. What it can do is stretch and crosshatch a 1080P image onto a 4K display, and that's enough to impress some people and convince them consoles are superior.

Reality is, Nvidia has two graphics cards capable of pushing a real 40K image at 60 FPS. But they each cost three and six times what a PS4 does, and that's before you even consider the other parts you'd need to support and cool them.
Unless you have a 4K Display, stick with the Non-Pro PS4. Yes, I know you can still play games on lower resolutions displays but, what's the point? The PS4 Pro is best paired with a 4K Display. There aren't that many NEW features other than the ability to have the GPU overclock itself slightly wiith some games.

mate wat?

you can build a capable pc for around $400! (in america. mileage may vary)
What?

A $400 pc amounts to a potatoe around here! That wont even cover the cost of a decent video card...
Canada or America... that amount wont get you anything. Especially with the bitminers raising the price of gpu's...

Store here has gtx 1060 6gb going for $529.99......

A basic gtx 1080 for $979...

I also have the Ps4 Pro... so go pro!

Meh, not enough really, as it comes down to the game, and how much work devs have to put into doing so, while meeting the target FPS they have to make sure the game runs at.

It can run games that should be at 1080p 30fps in 1080p 60fps

Enough for me :emofdr:
Pro, as it has more resolution options for Monster Hunter
PS4 Pro. Better to have that extra speed if needed.

If you include the accessories and cost of the games (few sales and not deep ones), you are paying more then what you would to build a reasonable gaming PC though.

Extra controller is $60. 1Tb isn't really that much, so external storage is another $100. Playstation+ to play online is an added $60+ a year. It can cost more then one thinks.

It is fully capable of 4k gaming. Just depends on how the developer of the game wants to do it. Most choose the easy way though and use upscaling, but there are others who still go true 4k.

Don't you find it weird they don't allow 4K Blu-Ray playback, even though the PS4 pro was mainly focus around 4k.
