The CGI is atrocious. But I guess its understandable if its the same guys who made the F&F movies. They were always popcorn flicks with some copy-pasted special effects.

Hollywood types overpay for all kinds of things... Either way it should cement him in the "has been" actor category after this movie comes out.

Never been a fan of Jim Carrey. Only movie he is in that I actually like is Bruce Almighty.

Honestly the role of the good doctor kinda suits Jim. He’s got the whole goofy charismatic villain thing going on and that really fits him. He seemed to be having fun in the trailer.
But.... one of the key features of Robotnik/Eggman is that he’s morbidly obese. Not having that kind of takes away from the character. But then again I remember that this is supposed to be the first in a trilogy or something so maybe they’ll fix that later on if this gets enough box office returns (unlikely).
Also, the mustache. It couldn’t be any more fake if they tried. It seriously looks like a prop from a Halloween store they just crudely glued onto his upper lip.
