Should I report the site or?
Before you posted, he asked if it was a scam site, so it appears your reply was that it is a scam site. Just a mis-understanding.
He's talking about the tier bundles. Or... He's talking about the login options.
Just now noticed the post.
Seems a bit more then that as he said he can only sign in and browse when following the link, hence a bit of suspicion for the e-mail it's self.
The Steam sign in is something I have never encountered though.
No it was the link I have saved which I've used before to browse & make an occasional purchase lol The link was from them after trying to sign in. It said I need to verify from my email by clicking on the link. Then it takes me back to the site. I didn't type anything into a search bar to find GMG. I'll avoid the site in the future now =)
Email verification link?
I think I'll look at closing the account if that even does anything. I thought it was a bit over-the-top-suspicious myself lol Then when it offered me to sign in with Steam plus 2 other options (maybe facebook? amazon? that type of thing) I just thought nah lol
As I said, the site is an authorized reseller. I've used it before and it is fine.
Is that new? I haven't used the site in a long time, so was never asked to use my Steam account. I have a GMG account, if I make a purchase there.
Just checked. Yep, they now have those options. Don't know when they added them or if I just missed them before.
That is up to you, but the site is fine to use.
I bought the silver and bronze tier games for the added free games and had no issues. The intel website gets a little trickier though but I still got them.
Sorry, 4 options. The last is GMG itself.
The deals looked pretty good that's what tempted me but you know when something's too good to be true =)
I'm a bit suspicious now though so sent a message to them. I'll go elsewhere from now on though lol
That's the one I chose. Didn't work though which made me suspicious why they were pushing me to sign in with Steam, etc. Then having to verify my account again from my email by clicking on the link they sent. =)
How do you claim the free games? lol
I went with gold tier - bought Sunset Overdrive. Got the code, but it says it's invalid. What a surprise that the code for '100% free gold reward' doesn't work =)
Used the -15% off code instead to buy Battletech merc collection so I'll try the other supposed '100% free gold reward' code with another game lol
Good way for GMG to make more money out of me with broken promises =)
There's also another deal of buy 1 gold tier game get 5 free.... yeah ok so where's my 5 free games?
Still not completely convinced this site isn't a bit sketch lol
