Do games from GOG come with steam keys?

Never used their site before. So are they just steam keys?

oh okay. So if I were to try to use the 'add a game' feature on steam, let's say I use a game I buy from GOG & add it to steam, would steam acknowledge that game in my library & would Steam allow me to use mods from their workshop for that game?

No. They are a completely different platform.

Sometimes the Devs/Pubs will allow you to claim your free extra copy of a game you own on Steam, to claim on Gog for free, but the deal normally last few days or upto a week, you have to keep in touch whenever they do it. ATM there's nothing going on.

You link your Steam account to your GoG account.

It'd let you throw the steam overlay over it, and show you playing a non-steam game, but there won't be steam workshop integration with games not on steam. Frankly, that's probably for the best, with my horrible experiences trying to get workshop to work well instead of modding manually.

You can click add a game, and add a non-steam game, and Steam will display the name when you're playing the game, and you have the Steam overlay as well, that's about it, no it will not count towards your library as it's a non-steam game, and you won't have access to the workshop either.

I was going to wait for the steam summer sale, but i just noticed GOG is having a pretty good sale right now & all their star wars games are on sale for 65% off, now I'm just trying to find out how much star wars games usually go on sale for on steam
