Why most fast food and restaurant do not have scrambled\fried eggs as food, and even if it does indeed have it, only for breakfast?
This is unfair, as they are delicious and healthy. Much better than overpeppered overoiled food they mostly serve.

I would think a heated gamer such as you would have answers to the while universe. In my opinion, eggs taste bad.
Fast food eggs are the worst form of egg

Are you talking about the egg disc?

Oh god no. Have you tried fast food eggs before, OP? Because I have and they were bland as paper.
Last time I ate fast food eggs they tasted like rubber. Or they were rubber.

This is the kind of nonsense you hear from someone that never has experienced working in a restaurant.

I'm actually that's a fair assessment of everyone that's posted so far.

Doesnt McDonalds do breakfast 24 hrs a day now? I thought I read about it, but I can't eat McDonalds. It literally makes me sick.

The ones who actually made scrumble or fried eggs (fried eggs are more common than scrumble), they are no different from normal fried eggs I'd make at home. The only downside is it takes a while in order to make them.

You must have failed at life in order to experience working at restaurant to begin with.

However, the restaurants that actually serve scrumble and fried eggs, they are mostly more popular and have better quality than the rest.

Last time I checked, they don't really have scrumble or fried eggs there. But then again, I rarely ever visit it.
Places like McDonalds, etc, won't be actual eggs, but rather from a bottle of premade liquid eggs, that had been flash frozen and sent to the store to keep till defrosted and ready to use.

They then need a certain 'clean' and separate area of the grill to cook them on. Which is only later cleaned and used for the mad rush of patties afterwards. You shouldn't mix raw meats cooking with raw egg cooking on the same surface.

The cooked eggs then can't be kept for long periods, rather normally cooked on the spot or just placed in a heated tray for a short period of time. Also, the bottle of liquid egg doesn't keep outside of refrigeration / freezing for too long either.

Hense why most places would only do it in the mornings.

Every time an eggshell breaks in transit, the franchise experiences explicit loss.

From what I’ve seen it’s usually an egg batter mixture, hardly fresh eggs unless it’s over-easy/medium/hard or boiled or poached/coddled. Which... is gross tbh. Mixtures just don’t do it for me.

I have seen a few restaurants (not fast food places) offering several offerings with fried egg or poached egg on top so that’s something.

Boiled eggs are actually more delicious and more healthy than hard fried, but most places I've seen cook them not too hard and leave them to be soft. Never seen a mixture of egg with something else (and I wouldn't want to). I rather eat eggs clean and separated from any other food entirely.
