Why are some people doubling down rather than to apologize for there mistakes?
An example of which is with the old slazo situation, Kingani, bluesdank, weest and alexx and Pyro's ex that i forgot. Even with the mountain of evidence against Chey over exaggerating and falsely accusing slazo.

They still believe in her and that they refuse to apologize to him, instead doubling down, turning a blind eye in the situation in hopes that the fire will soon go out, why not go the same route that kwite and dolan dark did. By actually admitting to there mistake and apologizing for not listening to his side of the story.

I've no clue what you're on about.

Why are some people refusing to apologize for an oopsie that they did and instead just think they are in the right in a situation.

I suppose in the world of the internet, every random is wrong if you feel you are right and it's easy to argue online.

Uh...I am clearly not doing the right kind of drugs.
8ullfrog Aug 21, 2019 @ 1:43am
exactly, I want the drugs that let me know who these people are.

I mean, is this Tywin Lannister Squaring off against the Reynes?

I. DON'T. KNOW!

well they failed, I made a sandwich in the toaster oven, it was quite enjoyable.

nah, ballpark steak rolls, pulled chicken with no sauce, cranberry mustard, and sharp cheddar.

I mean, there are fancier, better sandwiches, but I enjoyed it.

That sounds painful.

it's shredded chicken in a package, get over yourselves.

Because people rarely want to admit that they are wrong. I know I rarely do, unless a truly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I’d rather stand my ground than submit.

okay, like, it's garbage disposal food I'll grant, but no one is forcing you to eat it with a boot on your neck.

Dang.

I thought it was pretty good.

I just don’t like to be proven wrong. I know the earth isn’t flat but for me to not make a fool of myself I have to keep pressing the issue.

The only person who can clear us out on this is Sgt. Lilligant

Honestly, I would like an update. I've not heard of any of the muppets mentioned in the original post.

Like, we've got the report: Situation sub-nominal, resolution unavailable, We don't like X now, and we're solidly Y squad.

But we don't know what, who, why, or whatfor.
Blargo Aug 21, 2019 @ 6:33am
I used to do this during arguments, and it was for a dumb reason of which I can't explain why.
I felt as though I had to "finish what I started" even when I realized I was in the wrong.
All I could think was, "well, I've already stated my point, so I have to defend it at all costs."

Maybe that's the reason for other cases, maybe not. Either way, I'm glad to have left that behavior behind.

I have no clue who those people are you are talking about, but that is pretty much modern "social media"society in general.

If you apologize to the "Outrage Brigade" that is the internet in general, it is like blood in the water with sharks...

This outrage mob and "twitterati" will go for your throat then, and start going after you for every little thing you may have ever said that they disagree with, and any apology will be seen as insincere.

So a lot of people will just double down on stupid because it is a lot easier to do than having to apologize to everyone for anything else they have said that "may have offended" someone.
