Borderless fullscreen shows the task bar? :/
So I like to play in borderless fullscreen so I can tab out easily and all that, but now any games that are set to borderless show the task... I have it set at the top as a preferance but it doesnt make a difference if I change it. If this is a common error can someone help me fix it please?

Alt tabbing doesnt work, neither does going fullscreen and then to borderless again. Yeah I get it with youtube as well. I am going to restart and hope for the best.

good luck, did it work?
I don't really undertand what you said are you trying to get rid of the task bar at the bottom because you see it everytime you alt tab out and it stays overlapping your game?
If so google "Taskbar Eliminator" I use it when I do boardless gaming it completly eliminates the task bar and when you stop playing you can enable it again.

That sounds like a lot of effort for an error that just shouldnt happen. Sometimes when I play borderless I dont get a task bar, or sometimes I do. It just shouldnt appear when im watching videos in full screen or playing games in borderless.

In youtube on win 7 i just hover over an item on the bar (like steam) and when the small window pops up it should go away.

I use w10 and that doesnt work, I have tried almost everything. I think its just an error that needs fixing in the next update.
Try this:

There's also a non-Steam version for free

Once again, I am not paying money or wasting time with an error that just shouldn't happen. Besides if I restart it fixes it. Waste of £2.79
