Is swearing more humerous when it's censored?

Been watching a lot of South Park and Rick and Morty and I've noticed it that it's not as funny when it's left uncensored.

It's never inherently funny, really. But if the author is going for audacity, yes, it's funnier if it's bleeped out. But it's the kind of humor you really need an extraordinarily high IQ for and isn't for the normies, or something like that.

I've seen instances where Cartman says wtf and for me it's funnier when it's censored compared to the uncensored version.

When there is so much swearing there is just one long *BEEEEEEEEEP* that goes for 30 seconds, it's quite funny. -imo. But that's intentionally censored. So.. idk if that counts.

I don't consider swears humorous.
But when they're censored, they're just annoying.

But maybe the reason I don't laugh at swears is because I swear a ♥♥♥♥ ton myself
