A teachers job is only to teach you how to learn for yourself.
And so many fail at even that.
many dont even know that. but really more often then not when a student complains about not understanding because of the teacher it almost always means they (the student) are just placing blame on someone else because they dont want to put in the time and focus
they all have D's too
the only bad teacher I had was one that would say topic X was on the exam but Y ended up actually being on the exam.
open the book, read the chapter, do the problems.
you are ALWAYS supposed to do that regardless...did you?
No. That's not how it works.
Students who bring it up actually want to learn.
The lazy ones don't care, they just skip class.
effective teachers will become.
That teacher should be fired, btw. You should talk with the principal...
However, I'm now in a class where I'm pretty much left alone, without peers or teachers, to go through an entire math book. We'll see how it will go without somebody I can ask for help at any time.
She won the teacher of the award somehow though :/
and she's the one of the 2 math teachers here
nope.
when a teacher say 'here are the chapters we will cover this semester' you are supposed to read those chapters, do the problems, ask pointed and informed questions.
very literally the teach has literally zero to add to it that is not in the book.
That is how I did it and it works.
everything you need to know is in the book. learn to read and learn to ask specific informed questions
