How to learn french?

So I want to learn French because it's cool and GCSE's, I heard you can just learn the basics and go from their but I have no idea how to do the former or the latter, help pwetty please.

The basics are the grammar rules and the most commonly used words that you would use to construct sentences. Like "I am ____" is "Je suis ____". When you know the most common words, the grammar and the sentence construction, you know the basics.

As he said, he needs a language for his GSCE's and French would just be easier.

French is more widely used in other countries, such as Canada, Switzerland and Belgium. Chinese is pretty much limited to China and Taiwan.

Get a French significant other who won't acknowledge you until you learn their language. (Works on every language speaker by the way. )

babbel, rosetta stone, talking to people from montreal, playing a ubisoft game in french, it helps you familiarize with the objective and memorize words

One helpful tip is to switch your phone/tablet/PC etc to the language you wanna learn. After a few weeks the words start to get stuck in tour subconscious.

This is true. I regularly switch the languages on my Steam client to make sure I don't forget what I've learned.
