Final Fantasy XV blurry on PS4 Pro.
I'm downloading the game now and I tested the open combat mode while waiting the download to finish. I noticed that the game looks really blurry on all the different graphics modes. I have a 1080P monitor so could that be the culprit? Or is it because the download isn't finished? It's really distracting, it almost looks like a blurry filter is applied to everything byt the UI and text, those are fine. I'm planning on getting a 4K screen at some point so I'd like to know if this is just the fault of my 1080P screen or if it's something else.

Download isn't finished is likely a culprit.
Oh, good...I was getting worried that the finished download would look that blurry...fingers crossed that won't be the case...=D
What graphical settings does the pspro have on ffxv? Could just be some filthy anti-aliasing on top of a 4k checkerboarded image.

Well, it looks more like there's a blurry filter on everything, it doesn't look like it's just AA gone wrong...And I've also noticed that all games that are PS4 Pro enhanced look slightly blurry on my 1080P screens. I've played on several 1080P monitors and every PS4 Pro enhanced game has looked kinda blurry. Don't know if that's normal...
Okay, after the install it was not so bad but the TAA anti-aliasing is just horrid. I've never been able to use it in any game. It smears everything every time I move in the game. Gives me headaches...Well, at least FFXV is coming to the pc...
Been playing on my 1080p TV with a PS4 Pro. No blurry issues here. Tried mon my two montors as well, just to check, and no issues there either.

There should be option to turn on/off some of the settings. Only one I can't toggle is the HDR as none of my displays have it, so it is always off.
I've tried all the different settings that affect performance but the blurry motion remains. It is at it's worst when moving around in the game. I think some people just aren't as sensitive to the blurring that TAA anti-aliasing introduces. I notice it immediately unfortunately.=/ And I have an 2 ms monitor so it's fast enough that blurring shouldn't occur.
Yeah, that is a small consolation at least. And luckily the PS4 version was on sale so I did not lose that much money on it.

I'm actually upset that I got the Deluxe Edition when it came out, as the console version is confirmed to have less content than the PC edition.

I honestly should have waited.

Also the Motion Blur is on by default, it's to make the action scenes look "cooler".
Yeah, I realized after I bought the PS4 version that the PC version is coming out...And because sony has the worst refund system, I'm probably screwed...I might still ask them for a refund though, heard that some people have succeeded in getting a refund even after they downloaded the game they later refunded. I wish sony had the same system that steam has, 2 hours of gameplay or 14 days in the library. Even Xbox is getting a proper refund system...
I don't have a PS4, but I am planning on building my own PC.

Currently, I have an IMAC.

Most of the time PC is the preferred option, unless a port is so bad that console is the better option. Fortunately there are some great games on PS4 that aren't on PC so that I have a reason to keep my PS4 Pro, at least for now. But I mean, a lot of the games that are coming on PS4 are coming to PC too, like Dynasty Warriors 9 for example. And now FFXV is also coming to PC too. Sometimes I do wonder if the PS4 Pro was a unwise buy now that so many console games are getting ported to the PC...

In terms of Dynasty Warriors 9, I would rather wait for Extreme Legends.

Ghosting and blurring are two diffrent things.

Are you running the game at 4k? If so, try turning 4k off. It runs at 30 fps at 4k.

2ms does not guarantee no ghosting or blurring, it just minimizes it.

Some TV's are also worse at handling color shifts than others, and despite refresh rate, and that could cause blurring as well.
