I kinda predicted a decade ago that porn games will be best sellers once big platforms like steam start to distribute them.

I'm pretty much anti censorship so I believe that there should eventually be no restrictions on content no matter how sexual or gorey they are.

I'm fine with sexual things as long as it's not messed up like with these so called "Nekos", gory-sex or something like that.

Would you guys recommend those kinds of games? I have never really played a VN before, except for one with an hour or so in it. Do those have any good story in them, or is it just for guys who wanna get their ♥♥♥♥♥ hard?

It varies a lot. Some have nice stories with low or even no sexual content, while others are basically straight up porn.

From what I've seen, most of them have simple story as an excuse for all erotical things in the game.

There probably is a erotic/porn VN with a good story, but the most of the popular ones are not like that.

For the porn, I can't recommend the games on steam since they're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ censored
For the story... I dunno, I don't play those games for the story

that's not true since a while there are a quite few uncensored and hardcore sexual games in steam.

Also other reason why games like Nekopara and Sakura-series are popular is because lots of Otakus in Steam are trolls who want to people react with their Erotic VN collection, backrounds, screenshots and possibly idled +1,000 hours in the games.

I dunno bout them, but I would totally buy a game like Galgun and mod them myself.
