The main issue with this seems to be that Humble Bundle is also a publisher for Indi games and IGN is a review site for games. The fear is that they may start to show a bias view of game they also publish.

There definitely is a potential conflict of interests there.

That would have nothing to do with IGN. Bundles are most likely planned out in advance and this was too soon after they were purchased for IGN to have had any say.
