I am paying attention to that, though some eirly gameplay has be a bit... iffy I have to see what and how it changes from the build they have to final game. It looks like it could easily be a game I sing hundreds of hours into, at the same time what I saw looked like skyrim, without content careing what level you are.
Not top down, and honestly its more of a kingdom building game then an rpg. I really do need to give the game another look, espeically now that I have a new computer since the last time I played it, but Im still wondering if there is a game that fits what im looking for that either exists or is in development.
Rune factory 4 (only on 3ds): it's a mix between arpg and harvest moon or stardew valley
With secrets of grindea, that looked very good, I saw a video of it and thought nice, this may be something... then I saw it on steam and looked at it... nothing obviously changed in the screenshots so let's see what's been going on since... look at youtube video... damnit the video was over 3 years old and it's still in what they are calling beta... definitely going to look into it, but that soured me a bit on it from the get go.
Check Balrum maybe
I'd HIGHLY recommend Fallout 1 or 2. If you dislike those, I extremely recommend Wasteland 2. Super fun.
If not then my other really popular recommends would be Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2. 2 being dubbed one of the greatest RPGs of all time by gamers now apparently...
Oh factorio is also a really good one. No REAL objective just keep building up. SUPER addicting. RPG in the light of basically needing to slowly build up to stuff and get better armor/weapons/buildings but no real leveling up being done just progression.
most of the games come largely from bundles where I got 20~ games but really only wanted 1,
Balrum may be exactly what i'm looking for
on the topic of bundles, i'm waiting on humble monthly to turn over to see if I get the next month bundle before getting the other one that has wasteland 2 for 10$
been watching the divinities, waiting for them to go below the im willing to buy it number.
